On the 13th of June, the day of Saint Anthony, Vila Vita Parc honours the beloved Portuguese summer festivities with an open-air celebration at the resort’s emblematic Piazzeta. Inspired by the traditional street festivals that fill the month of June with music, colour and joy, Vila Vita blends its signature elegance with the authenticity of Portuguese tradition, offering guests and visitors a lively and memorable afternoon.

From afternoon into the evening, the Piazzeta transforms into a vibrant summer festival, with stalls serving classic delicacies: freshly grilled sardines, octopus skewers, buttered corn with fleur de sel, wood-fired chouriço bread, and traditional Portuguese sweets. To drink, large-format bottles of Lisbon wines - perfect for sharing - and refreshing craft beer set the tone for a relaxed celebration.

Stalls showcasing local products add to the cultural character of the event. The setting comes alive with the scent of typical “Manjericos” basil plants, tenderly kept in small pots, colourful paper lanterns, patterned tablecloths and strings of bunting, evoking the charm of Lisbon’s old quarters on a festive summer night, where under artful lighting the atmosphere subtly hints at familiar city corners and long-held traditions. Live music by Filipa Sousa and her band will fill the evening, bringing to Vila Vita Parc the lively spirit of Portugal’s most cherished celebrations.
