Santos Populares - Get ready to party!

Each year, in June, Lisbon's most charming districts of Alfama, Bica, Bairro Alto, Castelo and Mouraria celebrate St. Anthony, whilst the city of Porto celebrates St. John. And, as tradition dictates, grilled sardines, "caldo verde" kale soup, bread with chouriço, basil, beer, red wine, great music and entertainment are all in plentiful supply on the streets.

We have recreated these great Portuguese festivals known as “Arraial”, at the Adega restaurant at the Piazzetta, on 13th and 24th June, with live music.
